5 reasons why you shouldn’t miss the pre-Christmas season with us in St. Anton!

"Pre-Christmas time is my favorite time!"

– Quote from Paula's Vanilla cookie –

Gently, the snow falls in St. Anton, marking the beginning of our favorite season in December: winter. The aroma of freshly baked cookies wafts from the kitchen, and the sound of festive and cheerful songs fills the entire hotel.
Here are our five highlights for you:

1. Skiing without waiting times

The skiing paradise of St. Anton am Arlberg – did you already know about it? But did you also know that during the pre-Christmas season, you can enjoy perfect snow conditions and nearly empty slopes? The Christmas holidays for many people only begin shortly before December 24th. Therefore, from December 5th onwards, you can be among the first to make fresh tracks on well-prepared pistes and glide over untouched deep snow.

Tip: During the pre-Christmas season, we offer attarctive Advent packages!

2. Our Christmas Cookies

Whether it’s Paula’s Vanilla Cookies, Sophia’s Linzer Cookies, or Dominik’s Cinnamon Stars – each Christmas cookie is handcrafted by us: kneaded, cut out, baked, and decorated with care. You can't get more handmade than this!

The heavenly scent of freshly baked Christmas cookies wafts from the kitchen from the beginning of December, spreading festive cheer throughout the hotel. Enjoy our cookies right at check-in and bake these little delights at home with your loved ones!

On our blog, we share our recipe for Paula’s Vanilla Cookies.

3. Wellness for the Soul

Is there anything more wonderful than swimming in the pool or relaxing in the sauna while snow falls outside the window? Wrapped in a cozy bathrobe, lying on one of our comfortable loungers and gazing out at a beautiful snow-covered landscape is probably the most relaxing experience we can imagine.

4. Christmas Markets

Hot mulled wine, the aroma of fresh Kiachl (yeast dough pastries), string lights and candles, and small stalls with all kinds of gifts for your loved ones back home. We love the romantic atmosphere, the many treats, and the handmade souvenirs that you can find at the St. Anton Christmas Market.

Not far from St. Anton, the large Christmas markets in Innsbruck and Bregenz invite you to stroll around and unwind.

5. Winter Hiking Paradise

A romantic excursion into the winter wonderland of Verwall or happy children playing in the snow – the many winter hiking trails offer a wonderful alternative to an exhausting day on the slopes starting from early December.

Head high into the Gaisbühltal, deep into the Verwall Valley, or along the Rosanna on flat paths all the way to Flirsch – we’ll find the perfect route for you in the winter paradise of St. Anton.

Even though we love the vibrant colors of summer, our hearts beat for winter!
We would be delighted to welcome and pamper you in our winter paradise, St. Anton.
