Along the Rosanna river -through the Stanzertal valley
This e-bike tour is ideal for beginners or those looking for a relaxing day out. Explore the Stanzertal valley from St. Anton to Flirsch and back and discover the many unique features that await you along the route. Start your tour directly from Gletscherblick: cycle down the Bacherweg, cross the main road and turn left onto the Rosannaweg. You can alternatively start at the Ruetz bakery in St. Anton. The trail leads along the Rosanna river through the Stanzertal valley, where the numerous benches right by the river invite you to linger.
Upon reaching Pettneu, a detour along the forest path to the Nessleralm and the historic Nessler Thaja (herder's and dairyman's hut) is well worthwhile. This old building offers an insight into the alpine life of dairymen and herders more than 40 years ago.
In Schnann, the Schnanner Klamm gorge awaits you: the mountains open up into a wide and impressive basin behind the cliff that has been cut through by the stream.
In Flirsch, we recommend a hike through the beautiful protected landscape called Mösli below the Riffler mountain.
Bike & Hike Tour
through the Malfontal
One of our favorite moderately difficult tours follows the bike path along the Rosanna to Pettneu am Arlberg and continues through the idyllic Malfontal to the Malfonalm. The route initially heads towards the Wellnesspark Arlberg Stanzertal, then follows the picturesque course of the Malfonbach to the Fernerbrücke at "Ferner-Gampli." The path continues uphill to the Malfonalm, where you can enjoy a cozy stop for refreshments. Nature lovers will find two beautiful small mountain lakes in the area that invite you to linger.
We also recommend continuing on the hiking trail towards the Edmund-Graf-Hütte (2,375m), where you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Stanzertal.
Recommendation for Experienced E-Bikers:
The Darmstädter Hütte
The challenging e-bike tour to the Darmstädter Hütte covers around 15 kilometers and approximately 1,000 meters difference in altitude through the picturesque Moostal. Along the way, you pass the inviting Tritschalm and Rossfallalm before reaching the deep blue Kartellsee. The wide trail provides a pleasant but steadily ascending ride, which can be shortened by using the Rendlbahn.
The final ascent to the imposing Darmstädter Hütte rewards you with breathtaking views of the Alps.
This tour lasts around 2 hours and combines a challenging adventure with close to nature recreation - a guarantee for an unforgettable day.
