Our favourite paths: Three unforgettable trails in St. Anton!

The Lechtal Alps and the Verwall Mountains create the stunning mountain scenery around St. Anton am Arlberg. These impressive mountain ranges offer numerous hiking trails, breathtaking views and nature experiences for every level of difficulty. In this blog post, we will introduce you to our three favorite hiking routes that you shouldn't miss during your vacation!

Sandra's summer highlight:
the Alpenrosenweg

The Alpenrosenweg is one of the most beautiful hiking trails around St. Anton am Arlberg. The tour begins at the top of the Rendlbahn station and leads along the Alpenrosenweg to Alpe Rendl, through the forest, and on to the hotel. Along the way, cozy benches invite you to take short breaks and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Especially in early summer, the Alpenrosenweg showcases its beauty, as it is lined with thousands of alpine roses. Additionally, you have the opportunity to climb to the summit of Zwölferkopf at 2,556 meters.

Alternatively, you can start the route at the hotel: through the forest up the mountain, past Alpe Rendl, you will eventually reach the picturesque Alpenrosenweg leading to the top station of the Rendlbahn.

Sophia's hiking tip:
Through the Verwall Valley
to the Konstanzer Hütte

The idyllic hike to the Konstanzer Hütte is a must-do for your vacation in St. Anton. You have two options: either hike through the impressive Rosannaschlucht or directly through the picturesque Verwall Valley.

If you want to shorten the full hike of three and a half hours, you can take the hiking bus to the Salzhütte hut behind the idyllic Verwallsee lake. From there, follow a wide forest path through a beautiful valley alongside the Rosanna river. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the striking Patteriol mountain, which towers above the Konstanzer Hütte at 3,056 meters. This hike promises an unforgettable nature experience and plenty of vacation photos.

On to Leutkircher Hut: Johanna's recommendation

Another highlight for hiking enthusiasts is the challenging tour to the Leutkircher Hut. Those who are steady and not afraid of heights can make the ascent on the Gampen and Kapall cable cars. From the mountain station, the path leads towards the Leutkircher Hut. Summit seekers have the opportunity to continue hiking beyond the hut to the Hirschpleiskopf summit (2546 m). The return route descends to the Putzenalm hut, where you can either follow the forest road or choose the direct path through the woods back to the hotel. This hike offers excellent dining options, impressive natural experiences, and breathtaking views of the Stanzertal valley mountain landscape.

Alternatively, you can start from the hotel on the Jakobusweg path and then turn onto one of the steep forest paths towards the Putzenalm hut. After a refreshment, continue along the marked path up to the Leutkircher Hut.

We wish you many wonderful moments while hiking
