The North-Facing Slopes of Rendl –
Gletscherblick's Insider Tip
As passionate skiers, we know the ski area in St. Anton am Arlberg like the back of our hand! Even though we love the slopes on Galzig and Gampen, as well as the routes to Lech and the famous White Ring, we have grown very fond of the slopes in the Rendl ski area. A little away from the hustle and bustle, yet very easily accessible and right next to the Galzigbahn and Gampenbahn lifts, you'll find the Rendlbahn.
Skiing on Rendl
Whether you are a skier, freerider, deep snow fan or pedestrian, the Rendl is our insider tip for your winter holiday!
Freeride Park
Freeriders will find the St. Anton Freeride Park directly behind the Rendlbahn mountain station. Jumps of various heights await the brave and those who want to become brave.
For pedestrians, Rendl Beach, an outdoor bar, offers a perfect view of the freeride park. The Rendl is therefore also a clear holiday highlight for non-skiers!
Deep Snow & Off-Piste
For all deep snow and off-piste enthusiasts, Rendl offers numerous opportunities to glide over powdery snow between the groomed pistes. It's ideal for deep snow beginners who don’t want to venture too far from the slopes, as well as advanced skiers who want to quickly hop back on the gondola and dive into the deep snow at another spot.
Carving Dream
Thanks to the late sunshine and excellent preparation, the wide pistes offer perfect conditions for unleashing your carving skis! As these pistes can only be accessed via the Rendlbahn, they are always less crowded than the pistes in the rest of the St. Anton ski area.
A true dream for skiers!
Have you ever been on the Rendl slopes?
We look forward to your stories and photos!
