Recreate our Gletscherblick delights at home! Our chocolate brownie.
Those who have been to the Gletscherblick are familiar with it: the Gletscherblick chocolate brownie. A delight that indulges all the senses and can now be easily baked at home.
Preparation
Put the butter, sugar and coffee in a saucepan and let it boil once over a medium heat. Then remove the saucepan from the cooker. Stir in the chocolate until it has completely dissolved. Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Pour the mixture into a large mixing bowl and briefly whisk in the eggs one by one. Finally, stir in the flour and cocoa until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the batter into a prepared cake tin ( covered with baking paper) and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) top and bottom heat for 25 minutes. When testing the brownies with a toothpick, some of the dough may still stick to the toothpick so that the brownies remain nice and moist.
Now comes the hardest part: leave the brownies to cool for a few minutes before enjoying!
